1. Prior to booking, you must check the availability of flights. We cannot take responsibility for travel arrangements or travel arrangements that go wrong. Bari and Brindisi are the closest airports. However, it is possible to obtain transportation from Naples or Rome. If, in order to obtain flights, it is necessary to arrive early or depart later, it may well be possible to arrange additional accommodation at extra cost. 2.It is essential that anyone booking activity holidays have appropriate holiday insurance and details must be provided on the booking form.
3. If booking for friends, it is essential that all details are included on the booking form.
4. It should be noted that the Masseria was built in the 17th century and before health & safety regulations came into force! Clients must take care since the owners cannot be held liable for any accidents which might occur on the premises or in the grounds.
5. Confirmation invoice will be issued on receipt of booking form, 25% deposit and proof of insurance. The full balance of payment must be paid by the due date ie 8 weeks prior to date of departure. Itineraries and all necessary details of the property will be sent to the client on full payment.
6. We reserve the right to cancel the booking if the balance of the holiday price remains unpaid by the due date.
7. We reserve the right to cancel the booking in the event that demand for the promoted holiday falls below a level deemed necessary or if the lead artist/tour convenor is absent through illness.
8. Cancellation by the client. All cancellations by the client must be in writing from the person who signed the booking form, either by fax or recorded delivery. If cancellation is received 43 days or more before the first day of the booking, only the deposit will be retained. Cancellations received less than 43 days in advance will involve the following cancellation charge to be paid by the Client.
Between 42 – 28 days before the first day of the booking 60%
Between 27 – 15 days before the first day of the booking 80%
Between 14 and the first day of the booking 100%
9. Cancellation by the owners.
We reserve the right to cancel a booking at any time due to Force Majeure. In such circumstances, our responsibility would be limited to either offering alternative accommodation or refunding any money paid.
We would also cancel a booking if the payment terms outlined above had not been met and, in such circumstances the cancellation fees would be levied according to the above scale.
How to complete the booking form
Please complete all parts of the booking form.
1. Lead name and contact details. When booking for yourself, this is where you would enter your details. If, however, you are also booking for friends or relatives, please note that we will only take instruction from you or any aspects of the booking. All documentation will be sent to the lead name’s address.
3. All clients in the party must be entered and must be insured against holiday risks.
7. Deposit - 25% of full cost of holiday is required unless within 8 weeks of departure, in which case full payment is due
Security deposit - Clients are required to pledge a security deposit of £50 against any damage in the Masseria. This can be pledged by credit card. See booking form 7..
7. Declaration - this must be signed by a member of the party intending to travel and who is over 18 years of age.
