Welcome

The accent is on informality, and we encourage guests to make a cup of tea or pour a
glass of wine whenever they want. Different teachers will present different programmes
and will have their own notion of what comprises hard work! So the “work” content varies.

2010 programme just released! Book soon to avoid disappointment. Only 10 places
on each course.

Join us at the Masseria della Zingara, (the house of the gipsy), and take part in one of
the very special stitching breaks we have arranged with some of the top stitching stars.

What is included

The price quoted includes:

teaching
collection from airport (Bari or Brindisi) and return to airport
accommodation
breakfast and light lunch
dinner at the Masseria 3 nights
transport to and from neighbouring village leaving you free time to explore (dinner not provided on these two evenings)

not included:

flights
meals when not at the Masseria
entry fees to monuments (if any)
drinks whilst out of the Masseria

Prices are based on the assumption of two people sharing a twin room. However, double rooms are available for single occupancy at a supplement of £100. Partners are welcome and would pay a reduced rate. Accommodation is normally at the Masseria, but for certain sessions with larger teaching groups, guests will be put up elsewhere.

We would remind clients to check availability of flights prior to booking and we also reserve the right to cancel any session where the take up falls below a certain level. With its rural location, it is suggested that casual, comfortable clothes are the order of the day and, depending on the time of year, a sensible pair of shoes and a swimsuit should be the first items in the suitcase!

Flights

The nearest airports to the Masseria are either Bari or Brindisi. Ryan Air (for instance) fly every day to either Bari or Brindisi. It is perfectably feasible to fly to Bari and return from Brindisi for instance. We will pick up and drop you back to either of these airports.
